"Splashh" are an indie rock band formed in Hackney, East London. The band consists of former Pineapple Head, Colours and Coshercot Honeys/Brain Slaves frontman and guitarist Sasha Frantz Carlson, guitarist/synth player Toto Vivian, bassist Thomas Beal, synth player Jaie Gonzalez and drummer Angus Tarnawsky. At a New Year's Eve party in December 2011 Sasha Carlson first brought up the idea of forming a band with Toto Vivian, whom he had met previously on a trip to London in 2010. In February 2012 Carlson moved to London and began writing and recording songs with Vivian in Vivian's Hackney flat. Although formed and based in London, Carlson is from Auckland, New Zealand, and Vivian born in Italy and raised in Byron Bay, Australia.
